Faceoff
Curtis “Faceoff” Palmer was born towards the close of 1990. ‘‘County of Kings’ born and raised Faceoff was destined to be a king in the hip hop game. Consumed by the creative influence New York offered an adolescent Curtis spent a great deal of time listening to and recreating music to make his own sound. A true artist, his love of music came before everything else. Waking up to classic hip-hop like “Rappers Delight”, “Sucker M.C’s” and “The Bridge is Over” he found himself drawn to the musicality of old school, “Beats & Lyrics”.
Curtis spent a great deal with his uncle, Pride of rap group ‘Pride and Joy’, listening to music, cutting records as a DJ, and writing coursed through his veins.
Faceoff wrote his first song as a teen titled, “Used to Hate Me”; which confirmed he knew this was what he was meant to do. His stage name “Faceoff”, given to him by his peers because of his quickness to battle or face-off with anyone who challenged his skills as an artist.
Even during his time as an enlisted soldier in the U.S. Army he never gave up the dream.
Since 2008, Faceoff has performed across the country from New York to Alaska representing himself independently, and has been featured in several digital media outlets.He has several music available on almost every media platform online.
