Seven years ago today, May 17th, 2012… we made a music video for a new song we’d recorded called “When I’m Gone.” In the video, we pretended that my wife Joey had passed away and I was left alone here in our farmhouse. We had no idea at the time that in just a few short years all of it would come true and that the words Joey sang at the time, would go on to meet so much to me, and so much to so many other people.
